-On Feb 1st 2009, multiple 4WD clubs from across Manitoba met to discuss the formation of the MB4WDA as a voice for the 4WD community in Manitoba. With talk of land closure or restricted access to trails, the 4WD community wanted to ensure our voice was heard.......

-A national 4WD magazine is sending out a photogragher and journalist to ride shot gun with the WORE club on a weekend long trail run. The club has picked a date in July and a secret location. This is for members only and will be a great chance to have member rigs and some of Manitoba's best trails featured in a nationally read mag. - ---------update---------->>>

- Another weekend wheeling some great Manitoba trails, soon to be published for a nationwide audience. Albert Vandervelde, owner/editor of 4WD Magazine rode along for our weekend adventure and we showed him a part of the country he had never seen before. He might not have been expecting to see rocks too big for 42" tires to climb, and the views from the sandhills, but he might have been told to expect the bug bites.

-Good work you guys! Something like this is exactly the sort of thing we need to do to ensure our trails stay open. Cleaning our trails up is also an excellent way to protray a positive image to the general public and to make other trail users think twice before littering. Thank you to all who were involved and especially to those who spearheaded this endeadvour.

-ORV and underage driver If the vehicle they wish to drive can be insured "Under The Drivers and Vehicles Act" (normal MPIC insurance) then the rules change as far as who can operate the Orv. In the case of a Truck, SUV, Motorcycle etc. even though it carries ORV plates the driver must be a min. of 16 years of age and hold a valid drivers licence.
