Minimum Vehicle Requirements for "WORE Open Runs"
*Note: Member Runs and some Open Runs may dictate a higher lever of requirements*
- Valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance.
- Fire Extinguisher (1A10BC Dry Chemical)
- Topless vehicles must have rollover protection. Stock or better.
- Basic First Aid Kit.
- Tow rope, strap (Note: Straps and ropes with hooks, as well as chains are not acceptable). As a minimum, straps must be 2" wide, rated for 10,000 pounds, and at least 20' in length.
- Safety belts (one for each occupant). This is nonnegotiable. All individuals must be properly restrained by factory or better equipment (for their own safety) inside any moving vehicle on a club ride.
- Spare tire and/or a tire repair kit. jack, and lug wrench. Many modified vehicles may require the use of a "Hi-Lift" or farm-style jack. These can be a very valuable tool, and we highly recommend (but do not require) them. (Note: Some vehicles may not be able to carry a full size spare, in this case plugs for minor damage, an inner tube for greater greater, and CAA for major problems will work)
- Front and Rear tow points. These MUST BE FRAME MOUNTED in one manner or another. Or intergrated into a solid frame mounted bumper
- All vehicles must have a functioning exhaust system for both noise control and fire suppression purposes.
We strongly reccommend carrying any tools, spare parts and fluids that you think you might need.
All vehicles new to the club will be inspected. Any failures may not be able to attend the run.
